Hear the 2021 Stockholm World Water Week event with WHO, UNICEF, FCDO, SIDA and WaterAid. It focuses on the integration between WASH, energy and climate resilience in healthcare facilities including case studies who have begun integrating energy and climate in their WASH programming or policy activities. A poll of session participants found that 50% were currently integrating both energy and climate into WASH in healthcare facilities.

A virtual event held on October 14th 2020 which was broadcast on the PAHO YouTube Life channel, with over 300 participants from 19 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Meeting report from the 2019 Global Meeting held in Livingstone, Zambia (9-11 September). The meeting was attended by over 100 people, including 35 countries and partners.

This document is a product from one of the Learning Labs run at the 2019 Global Meeting on WASH in health care facilities (Zambia, September 2019). The document includes a list of questions to consider prior to constructing or upgrading WASH infrastructure at health care facilities. The answers to these questions will ensure that systems or technologies are selected which are contextually appropriate and sustainable.

A summary of a lunchtime session held at UNC (October 2019). The goal of this lunch session was to appraise the “state of the evidence” on WASH in HCF following the first research meeting in 2016 and revisit which research topics which should be prioritized for future research.
