This document outlines the terms of reference and composition of the “Committee for Safety and Risk Management” in Kuwaiti health facilities. It includes responsibilities such as developing annual action plans, overseeing quality indicators, coordinating training programmes, and aligning with the national accreditation standards. The committee includes representatives from quality offices, hospital departments, pharmacy, labs, and infection prevention and control (IPC). The objective is to ensure continuous quality improvement, health care worker safety, and compliance with national and international WASH and IPC standards.
