This National Roadmap sets out Liberia’s strategy for achieving universal access to safe Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in healthcare facilities by 2030. Jointly developed by the National Public Health Institute of Liberia and Ministry of Health, with support from WHO, USAID, and other partners, it defines strategic objectives, coordination structures, monitoring indicators, and investment needs. The roadmap builds on WHO/UNICEF global commitments and integrates WASH-FIT tools and SDG targets 6.1 and 6.2.

This comprehensive national roadmap presents Iran’s multi-year plan to strengthen WASH services in healthcare facilities. It follows WHO/UNICEF guidance and builds on the 2021 national WASH situational analysis. Developed through stakeholder consultation and technical working groups, the roadmap includes national objectives, regulatory review, costing of environmental health services using UNC’s toolkit, and defines short- and medium-term targets to improve quality of care, IPC, waste management, and access to WASH for vulnerable populations.

Health National Adaptation Plan for Building Climate Resilient Health Systems in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (2023)
This Health National Adaptation Plan (H-NAP) is Lao PDR’s first comprehensive climate-health strategy. It provides a roadmap for strengthening the resilience of the health system to climate change, focusing on priority health risks such as WASH, food insecurity, heat-related illnesses, vector- and water-borne diseases, and disaster-related health service disruptions. Developed through intersectoral collaboration with WHO, the plan is structured around the 10 components of the WHO Operational Framework for Climate Resilient Health Systems and aims to guide adaptation actions at national, provincial, and facility levels through 2025 and beyond.
Costed Roadmap on WASH in health care facilities of Islamic Republic of Iran (2023)
This road map for health-systems strengthening developed based on the pre-determined objectives which were initiated from a precise reviewing the first step of WASH in healthcare facilities in Iran conducted during 2021 for 730 statistically representative HCFs regarding to the establishment of a reliable framework for conducting the roadmap. The objective of this National Coordination Mechanism and WASH Costed Roadmap in Healthcare Facilities is providing a framework to articulate a pathway that will strengthen all HCFs in Iran to provide standardized and effective WASH services and generate a new way of public quality healthcare, with consideration of the costs associated with the suggested interventions.
